FAQ
Lymphatic Massage
A lymphatic massage is a specialized massage type that gently assists the lymphatic system in maintaining the body’s blood circulation, fluid balance, and immune mechanisms.
Lymphatic massages help the body work more efficiently, breaks down scar tissue and adhesions, and can reduce swelling and improve healing time for a smoother and more comfortable recovery.
After BBLs and liposuction, lymphatic massages are essential to eliminating excess fluids, reducing scarring and reducing overall swelling. Lymphatic massages are typically recommended within the first 2-3 days after most body contouring procedures (BBL, tummy tuck, liposuction).
People should not have a lymphatic massage if they have congestive heart failure, blood clots, kidney problems, infections, or circulation problems. If a person has any medical conditions, they should talk to their doctor before trying a lymphatic massage.
Contraindications:
- Decompensated cardiac insufficiency
- Untreated Congestive heart failure (CHF – cardiac edema)
- Acute inflammation caused by pathogenic germs (bacteria, fungi, viruses). The germs could be spread by the manual lymph drainage, with resulting blood poisoning (sepsis).
- Acute renal failure
- Acute deep venous thrombosis (DVT)
- Condition stated above must not be treated with manual lymph drainage.
Relative Contraindications:
- Malignant lymphedema caused by active cancer
- Renal dysfunction
Pressotherapy
Pressotherapy is a procedure that is said to help with lymphatic drainage, thereby potentially slimming the look of the arms and legs (because they carry less fluid), easing aches and pains, and detoxifying the body. It uses an air pressure machine to inflate a suit that squeezes your arms, legs, or abdomen in a rhythmic motion, similar to a massage.
There is some evidence that lymphatic drainage massage like pressotherapy can reduce the appearance of cellulite and release fluid in the lymph nodes which may build up after surgery or after certain cancer treatments.
A typical session will last for 30 to 45 minutes.
Your body may feel light afterward, and anecdotally, some people feel they have to urinate right away, which could be due to the movement of water in the body.
You can get pressotherapy done as often as twice a week.
Ultrasound Cavitation (or Lipo Cavitation)
Ultrasound cavitation is highly effective in removing unwanted fat, reducing cellulite, and stimulating collagen production and circulation. The procedure targets fat cells in the underlying skin layers using low-frequency ultrasound waves to break down fat. After a few days, the cells release fatty substances, which are absorbed by the body’s lymphatic system, and naturally eliminated as waste.
Ultrasound cavitation is a safe and effective procedure using ultrasound for fat reduction. 3D lipo cavitation fat removal is an FDA-approved procedure that has become a breakthrough in non-surgical fat loss technology.
The treatment area, age, metabolism, and the individual’s tissue structure will influence results, so it is important to have a healthy diet and regular exercise to get the best out of ultrasound cavitation treatment.
There are multiple benefits from this procedure that make it an increasingly popular alternative to liposuction or tummy tucks.
· Reduce fat, stretch marks, and cellulite
Lipo cavitation reduces fat by liquifying fat deposits that are secreted through the body’s waste. The ultrasound also stimulates collagen and tissue regeneration to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite. It also improves body contouring.
· It is pain-free
During a lipo cavitation session, the ultrasound device may feel like a gentle massage. While some people experience a tingling sensation or sensitivity, it is a pain-free procedure and completely harmless. Surrounding tissues, cells, and organs are not affected in any way.
· Non-invasive or non-surgical, no downtime
Because there is no surgery, no anesthesia, and no recovery period, there is no downtime, and you can go back to your daily routine immediately after treatment.
· Suitable for all skin types
There are no limitations on different skin types being suitable for 3D Lipo cavitation. It is safe and effective regardless of skin texture or color. However, if you have any open wounds or skin sores on the treatment area, your practitioner will postpone treatment until any skin injury has healed.
Ultrasound Cavitation therapy can be safely performed up to 2 times per week, with 3 days between each procedure. Research has shown that most patients require 6-12 sessions to achieve optimal results over their entire body. This will depend on the size of the area to be treated and the desired result.
The service is tailored to the individual. Generally however, most treatments are between 45-60 minutes long. Multiple areas of the body can be treated during one session.
Cavitation is best used on areas of localized fat. This includes areas such as the upper back of the arm, thighs, abdomen, hips, and buttocks. It cannot be applied to bony areas such as the head or neck.
In contrast to conventional procedures like liposuction, 3D lipo fat cavitation does not involve any surgery nor anesthesia, and you can resume normal activities immediately after therapy. This approach diminishes the risks and side-effects of having ultrasound cavitation treatment.
During treatment, the light buzzing of the ultrasound device will be audible, but patients feel minimal discomfort (if any) with a warm sensation over the skin. Although it is a low-risk procedure, you may experience some mild side effects that are temporary.
- Bruising or Redness
After lipo cavitation treatment, bruising or redness of the skin may be noticeable within the first few hours. Some patients get deep, purple bruises or light red spots, so it varies from patient to patient, but it generally subsides and will disappear after a couple of days.
- Skin Sensitivity
The gel applied before treatment as well as the ultrasound technique of penetrating the skin layer can sometimes cause skin sensitivity afterwards. You may feel itchiness or have swelling but this is temporary and will resolve itself after a few days.
- Skin Irregularities
In some cases, the fat is broken down unevenly which can leave lumps and bumps over the skin. The body needs time to break down the dislodged fat cells and follow-up treatments can also help resolve any noticeable bulges.
- Thirst
Patients may experience an increase in thirst following the procedure. This is due to substances being naturally removed, so it is advisable to up your water intake in the days after treatment to aid the elimination process.
- Headaches
Experiencing headaches or dizziness is not uncommon but this is from the toxins being released in the body. Staying hydrated and doing exercise after treatment can help flush the system out quicker.
People who are 18 years old and older and who are in generally good health are ideal candidates who will benefit from ultrasound cavitation.
Ultrasound cavitation fat reduction is best supported by following a well-balanced, low-calorie diet while staying hydrated and getting frequent exercise. It should not be a substitute for exercise or healthy eating. During your treatment program, you will notice a reduction of inches off your circumference and results will keep improving with multiple sessions.
This procedure is not recommended for those with morbid obesity. Women experiencing their period should skip treatments during that time of the month. After childbirth, you must wait a minimum of three months, or at least six months after C- section. Getting your doctor approval is recommended post childbirth if you would like to try Ultrasonic Cavitation.

Laser Lipo
Laser lipo is designed to reduce fat in targeted areas and to help contour the body for a slimmer appearance. Laser lipo uses low level laser beams that are released through treatment pads to break down stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol. These free fatty acids and glycerol are released into the body through the cell membranes and transported around the body to various tissues where it waits to be burnt off. These triglycerides will circulate in the bloodstream for about 2-3 hours after your session. During this period, you will need to do at least 30 minutes of cardio exercise at moderate intensity. You do not need to target the treated area during your exercise.
Yes. Laser lipo is completely non-invasive and safer than traditional surgical liposuction, which means that while results may not be as dramatic they will certainly be apparent.
All parts of the body that store fat can be treated. The most common treatment areas include:
- Abdomen
- Waistline
- Thighs
- Arms
- Under the chin
Each laser lipo session lasts 20 minutes.
Twice per week is recommended. You must put a minimum of one day in between your treatments. Two treatments per week for four weeks are recommended. Some clients prefer to come 3 times per week with a day in between each session so that they can complete their treatment course over a shorter period of time.
Yes, laser lipo is FDA approved to treat all areas of the body except the female breast. There is no risk to a client’s internal organs nor is there risk for infection.
There is absolutely no pain with the treatment. There is no downtime afterward.
The most common of these side effects is numbness in the treatment area, slight scarring, discolored or loose skin. Those side effects are temporary and tend to disappear shortly after a treatment.
You can get some results about a week after the first treatment, although you will not get your full desired results until you have completed all your treatments. Not all clients see immediate results, although all clients do eventually see results throughout the treatment process.
Cardio exercise at moderate intensity is required within 2-3 hours after your treatment in order for the treatment to work. Any triglycerides that are not burned off during exercise will just move back into the fat cell, causing it to increase in size. Therefore, if the triglycerides are not eliminated during exercise, the initial decrease in size will not last. Check with your doctor if you are unsure about your ability to exercise.
For the safety of our clients, you will NOT be able to receive any laser lipo treatments before consulting your doctor if any of the following apply:
- Pacemaker, heart valve replacement, or severe heart diseases
- Severe liver or kidney diseases
- Arterial disease
- Autoimmune diseases such as diabetes
- Metal implants in or near the treatment zone
- Other metals due to accident or surgery
- Epilepsy
- Malignant tumors
- Pregnancy or nursing
- Anticoagulant drugs (i.e., heparin, warfarin (coumadin), rivaroxaban (xarelto)).
Contraindications:
- Pregnant
- Breastfeeding
- HIV/AIDS
- Cancer (all forms)
- Undergoing chemotherapy or immunotherapy
- High blood pressure (uncontrolled)
- Diabetes (uncontrolled)
- Chemical peels and laser resurfacing
- Sunburn
Radio Frequency (RF) Skin Tightening
Radio frequency (RF) skin tightening is a nonsurgical and noninvasive skin tightening and anti-aging treatment. During RF treatment, current flows from the electrodes of an RF device into your skin, heating the tissues beneath to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The treatment also speeds up cell turnover, so the skin gets firmer and thicker over time. Radiofrequency skin tightening requires almost no downtime, and the risks are minimal.
It is a popular treatment for the face and neck area. It can also help with loose skin around your belly or upper arms. If you have mild looseness or sagging after liposuction, non-surgical skin tightening might be the best option for you.
During a radio frequency (RF) skin tightening procedure, heat is used to encourage the production of new collagen and elastin. The renewed production of these components helps to eliminate wrinkles and fine lines, and tightens skin. RF skin tightening on the body also reduces the appearance of cellulite on the abdomen, thighs, arms and buttocks.
RF skin tightening is considered to be very safe; the only common side effect is mild pain during treatment. The FDA has approved it for reducing the appearance of wrinkles. RF skin tightening requires no downtime or post-treatment skin care.
Radiofrequency skin tightening causes structural changes within the deepest layers of your skin, and it can make your skin look tighter and smoother while making cellulite less noticeable.
For RF treatments, you can safely have a treatment appointment once every three to four weeks during your initial round of treatments.
While the general treatment frequency is between three and four weeks, it should be noted that the ideal treatment is up to you and the specific requirements of your skin. For instance, those who have mild or moderate skin laxity may benefit from treatment appointments spaced one month apart, while those with severe skin laxity will require treatments that are closer together to get the most impact from the treatment.
Yes, you will require maintenance appointments once every three to four months to maintain the results of your treatment. Clients who have serious skin laxity should have regular treatment appointments every three months, while clients who have mild or moderate skin laxity may benefit from treatments spaced four months apart.
If any of the following apply, you are NOT able to have Radio Frequency Skin Tightening.

Vacuum Therapy Butt Lift
We use wood therapy to break down cellulite and fat deposits in the thighs, while activating the lymphatic system. We then push the broken down fat cells up to the buttocks and apply vacuum therapy cups to “hold” the fat in place. This allows us to ‘retrain’ fat cells to sit in the buttocks, but without maintenance treatments or surgical intervention, the fat cells will eventually shift back to where they started. Once a month maintenance is often enough for most people to enjoy their results indefinitely.
Typically just 2-4 sessions will give you outstanding results when done in a 1-2 week period. The trick is maintaining the results with a proper treatment plan. We recommend 6-8 treatments your first month (twice a week), then 1-2 times a month for maintenance. Just like working out, consistency is key.
You will start to see a difference after just one session. To make your results long lasting, a series of treatments is recommended.
The results are permanent with maintenance sessions, exercise and clean eating. Without monthly maintenance, your results will last about 6 months after you complete your initial package.
You may experience a slight pinching sensation as the cups are being applied or removed, but otherwise it is pain-free.
No. No needles, no surgery, no downtime.
Breast Lift Procedure
After applying vacuum therapy oil and performing a manual massage on your breast, the specialist performing the treatment will stick suction cups on them. The treatment last about 30 minutes.
Usually, after the first few sessions, you should have higher breast volume for around 7 days. Thereafter, the more treatments you do, the longer the results will stay. The body must have time to get used to it.
In the beginning use for 5-10 minutes, it will feel a little uncomfortable. You can also lower a little the suction, then you will feel much comfortable and relax during all the treatment.
The number of sessions required is 8 to 16 depending on the client. Some people will have results faster than others. The results vary greatly from person to person, depending on skin type, breast size, patient genes, lifestyle, etc.
The ideal is to have the first 8 sessions fairly grouped together at the start (with a minimum of 48 hours between sessions). The goal is to get the body used to it as quickly as possible and then do maintenance sessions, at least once a month to maintain the results.
It will be red for the treated area after the treatment. But the red will fade in 20 minutes.
Contraindications & dangers:
In some cases, the breast lift vacuum treatment can be very painful and cause bruising, so it is very important to communicate with the specialist who is performing the treatment regarding your comfort. If you experience pain, ask to reduce the suction power or to stop the treatment.
Do not do the treatment if you have pain in your breasts, have had any operations (breast augmentation, breast reduction or others) on them, have cysts, large breasts, sunken or introverted breast/nipple.
